when a client ask a password for his mypassport then i will send it via SMS trough the application i have setted up.
The reason why i do it in advance is to give them all strong and secure password en also i have a system/application with database. Supports Huawei, ZTE, Sierra Wireless and other modems, routers and phones.

Ps: i gave all those mypassport a password in advance, when i give to manager he/she cant open it due no admin account and his crew need fill it full documents for the client and after all set up we send de drive to our client but also he/she are not able to open it if they have not admin rights… DC-unlocker is universal, fast and easy to use unlocking tool. I tried to upgrade the WD Drive Unlock program as its old and has issues but to no avail. She has since forgotten the password and we are distraught with the idea that we may have to erase all our pictures of my dad and the rest of the family. Its about 2-3 years old now and has been 100 reliable with respectable performance. I purchased a WD my passport ultra, moved all my pictures onto this including those of my deceased father and my mum put a lock on it for protection. When I try to unlock, it is asking me to 'connect a smart card' to continue. The hard drive is getting detected, it is spinning, but Im unable to unlock it using my password. However, it has stopped working in Windows 10. It was working fine with the previous version of windows.

Please is there any that normal users without admin rights can open/unlock it? Hi, I have a WD My Passport 1TB USB 3.0 portable drive (Model - WDBBEP0010BBK-03) and it comes with an old and outdated program for the drive security called WD DriveUnlock instead of WD Smartware. I own a 1Tb Western Digital external Passport series 2.5' hard drive. I used WD Hard drive for taking system back up. To do this: right click on WD unlocker and assign a new letter, restart computer and unlock My Passport and go to disk management and right click on My Passport and you should now have the option to add or change letter to My Passport. Sometimes the managers need setup whole document into Mypassport for the client but the problem is she can’t unlock it because she needs an admin account or rights so which means i with admin account should unlock everytime but i want to avoid that.Īlso some our clients does not have admin rights too and they cant open their product(mypassort with important company documents) Right-click on My Passport and see if you have the option to add or change letter, if not, do the following: open disk management and change letter on WD unlocker.
I want to know how we can unlock those WD MyPassport WITHOUT ADMIN RIGHTS.īecause the employees like managers does not have admin account because we from IT only has the admin right/account.
